HOW ITS DONE!

JOBO Art

Sourcing the items to be photographed.

Either we will go out to find the items to be photographed or you can send us the items. Or, we can come to you if your not a million miles away! A popular choice is flowers, these make really great gifts for special occasions such as weddings. For example, a wedding bouquet. This isn’t designed to last so time is of the essence in getting it photographed. Same goes for the wedding flowers which make great gifts for the mother in law or whom ever arranged the flowers.

We can cater for all sorts, designs can be made out of anything and for anyone. Restaurants, hotels, coffee shops the list is endless.

JOBO Art

Photography.

As a professional photographer by trade I love everything it has to offer. Especially macro photography which is what used to create the artwork.

Each individual piece of the artwork is photographed separately in the studio using sometimes thousands of images to produce a single piece of art.

The edit.

Once each of the flowers have been edited they are brought into software to be merged together. This can take time, some images which are over a thousand photos will be left over night to render resulting in some very detailed photos.

The Design.

This is where things get creative. Its impossible to tell exactly what the end result will be apart from amazing. If its felt more is needed it will be included or the other way around.

Allot of hours are spent putting things together and proofs are sent to make sure everyone is happy with the final picture.

JOBO Art Printing

Printing.

Using a large format fine art printer we can print up to any size and onto any paper although after allot of tests its been narrowed to a acid free photorag paper from Hahnemuhle which is amazing.

Glicee printing on all the artwork we produce is a standard with excellent lightfast qualities of 200 years.

Framing.

All out materials we use in the frame are to conservation standards apart from the glass unless otherwise agreed. Should conservation glass be used it will come with a certificate of authenticity.

Framed in-house to order.

FSC Frames (Forest Stewerdship Council) promoting responsible management of the world’s forests.

Acid free mounts.

We tend to stick with a gorgeous black grained deep frame with charcoal mounts as this always tends to provide the most amazing impression. We can however change this on request.
